In response to the question:  “Is renouncing family and worldly life necessary for God-realization?” Louix explains that one’s desire for God-realization must be more important than anything else, including family, money, career, possessions….. If your goal is to achieve God-realization, anything that is not in alignment with that goal would, by its own nature, fall away (which is different to renouncing). Louix talks about the tests he encountered on his own journey to God-realization and the futility of holding onto one’s attachments and desires.
