Choosing Forgiveness

One of the biggest reasons for all the chaos, madness, and cruelty on the planet these days is because of the sheer lack of honesty and accountability that exists in most of the world’s population.

A far greater reason is the almost total dearth of "true" forgiveness within humanity. Few people do forgive, and since almost nobody even knows what it truly means, even those who think they did, actually didn't.

To err is human.
To forgive is Divine.

Take the high road. Choose to forgive. True forgiveness means “to return to giving love as before whatever event or transgression happened—as though it never did.”

We forgive for 3 reasons:

1) because we can
2) because it’s what we are supposed to do
3) because it’s what God is asking us to do.

Pettiness is what prevents people from taking that step. Most people demand justice. Taking this understandable, albeit ignorant, stance demonstrates an unawareness of a supreme Universal Truth:

Enforcing/fulfilling karma is not your job…
The Universe takes care of that all by itself.
