What are Louix’s teachings?
Louix Dor Dempriey’s non-denominational, timeless expressions of wisdom and love demonstrate how to create peace, unity, tolerance, compassion, humility, and joy within each individual and collectively amongst the nations and peoples of the world.

How does one practice healthy sexuality?
Q: Why do so many spiritual masters place an emphasis on celibacy? What is the way for people to practice healthy sexuality without going to the extreme of becoming celibate?
A: It is impossible (and would be foolish) for Me to speak for other spiritual masters, but I can speak for Myself. In all the years of My ministry, and of all the many thousands of people I have counseled, I have only suggested celibacy to three individuals—and, even at that, this was only for a set period of time. While I do not advocate celibacy as a permanent way of life, celibacy is a very powerful vehicle to attain the exalted state of Detachment. For the record, I do advocate abstaining from intercourse before marriage (which many confuse as being equal to celibacy, which it is not). There are many reasons for this, many blessings to be gained from it, while still leaving unlimited ways to express and share physical and sexual intimacy.
At the same time, I both honor and respect anyone’s choice to live a celibate lifestyle. It is not for everyone, however, and, in fact, can be very damaging (if not dangerous) when practiced without proper training or guidance. Anyone who (still experiences sexual desires, consciously or unconsciously and) chooses to practice celibacy would be wise to practice some form of pranayama (sacred breathing techniques) to move the life force energy (qi, chi, prana) up through the chakras. The very dearth of this training and practice by celibates is the sole cause of all the sexual molestation which is seen in some religions (the Catholic Church might make the headlines in the news, but this exists in other religions, too—and not just in the clergy). Some religions/churches mandate the suppression of this natural bodily function, but fail to offer training for an alternative means to move the energy. Because lava always finds the weak spot in the rock, any unhealthy type of suppression will find unhealthy expression elsewhere (in all arenas, not just the sexual one).
It is also important for Me to clarify, by the way, that sex does not necessarily move energy the way pranayama does, nor is it at all times the healthiest way to move energy for a given individual in a given moment. The breath is the most powerful tool we have, and it can be used not only to transcend sexual desires, but also to heal any disease, perform many miraculous feats, and to directly experience God. (There are also other sacred techniques—like Qi Gong, T’ai Chi, and some forms of yoga—which can move the life force energy in a way that can help ones to safely and comfortably live a celibate lifestyle.)
Practicing healthy sexuality begins with regarding your own body as a temple of God, the very tabernacle which houses your soul. It is important to place your primary focus on self-love and self-worth, and making it your highest priority to increase these divine aspects of your consciousness. The sharing of your body with other(s) needs to be held as a most sacred act, an expression of love (rather than of “need”). Sexuality stemming from need only creates more dependency and unfulfillment, for desire is the cause of all suffering.
What is most important in any relationship (including ones where there is no sexual expression: family, friends, co-workers, etc.) is to develop intimacy. Second only to the primordial fear of death is the human fear of intimacy. And, believe it or not, most people engage in sex to avoid intimacy, the same way people chatter and babble and gossip to avoid intimacy. In fact, over 80% of all human speech is wasted words, “filler” used by people who fear the intimacy which naturally occurs and presents itself every time two or more people come together and have the opportunity to express their love for one another.
Seek to see and experience God in every thing, in every encounter, and you will find a richness and tapestry in/of life that you never dreamed possible. Make the effort to become vulnerable. Your true power lies in your defenselessness. God seeks to engage with us in every moment. The Beloved waits at every corner, between every breath, before every sentence. What I teach—and why I walk this Earth—is to invite everyone into The Divine Romance. Herein lies Life’s greatest treasure, greatest experience, greatest achievement, and greatest reward.

Fundraising Goals
The meaning of life is to be in service to a Purpose which is greater than the self.
To fulfill the vision for serving and uplifting humanity, the Louix Dor Dempriey Foundation will be raising USD$15 million for the following:
- Purchasing and developing a property that will provide housing for at least twenty people, as well as the new global headquarters of the Foundation. In addition to providing the usual infrastructural needs of a global non-profit organization, this ashram property (spiritual community) will be a self-sustaining, organic farm, dedicated to “green” living and to embodying the spiritual teachings which are the very foundation of Louix’s life and ministry. This will serve as a model for other such communities to be developed around the world.
- Legal and administrative costs to complete the full structuring and establishment of the Foundation and its subsidiaries.
- Creating a salaried, full- and part-time staff for managing the various departments and activities of the Foundation, and establishing programs for all volunteer support staff.
- Preserving the Foundation’s historical artifacts and educational materials, which include all of Louix’s recorded teachings since 1992 (many of which are in urgent need of preservation), as well as establishing a program to meet the Foundation’s future archiving needs.
- Publishing and distributing Louix’s teachings (and others sponsored by the Foundation) via books, DVDs, films, CDs, the Internet, television, radio, and other media.
- Conducting spiritual retreats, pilgrimages, seminars, and study courses.
- Expanding the existing (and developing new) global service projects to preserve and purify our earth and its environments, as well as projects that support the physical and spiritual needs of individuals and communities around the world.
- Procuring computer and audio visual equipment for the development of new educational products (print, audio, and other media).

Forests of Fruit
Building upon the Global Clean-up Project (which was inaugurated in 2003, for Louix’s birthday), Grace in Action has expanded to incorporate an ongoing fruit tree planting project—Forests of Fruit. By planting fruit trees on public and private lands everywhere, and encouraging others to do the same, we align with Louix’s teachings that we are divinely designed to eat fruit, and that fruit is paramount to our health and vitality. Through this project, we provide food for people (as well as the animal kingdom) and help to bring an end to deaths from starvation and malnutrition, which claim millions of lives every year. The project also serves to help reforest, oxygenate, and beautify the earth.
Louix emphasizes the importance of spending time on the earth for our healing and upliftment. By planting and tending fruit trees, we will be in Nature and more open to communion with Mother Earth and nature spirits. There is a wonderful opportunity here to learn about and practice organic gardening and plant care, and to find ways to be in harmony and balance with the natural world.
It is recommended that you conduct research before you select and plant trees for this project. Use the Internet, read relevant books and magazines about organic gardening, and speak with your local nursery. You will need to know what varieties grow best in your climate, and how to grow and care for the tree organically—without using pesticides or chemicals. You need to ensure the tree will be adequately nurtured and cared for, not left to die, or you will be creating a negative effect in the Universe—more ill health, more starvation, and further deforestation.
As part of the tree selection and planting process, it is important to ask Mother Earth what variety or varieties She would like to receive, and where the trees should be planted. Louix recommends that we select heritage or heirloom varieties of fruit trees if possible (with the understanding that ones should gratefully accept fruit trees which are often donated by nurseries or other benefactors, provided they can grow in the climate wherein you would be planting them), and to avoid varieties which have been genetically modified, genetically engineered, bio-engineered, or are transgenic.
Once you have asked for and received permission from Mother Earth (and obviously from the owners, managers, and/or caretakers of each chosen site) to plant a fruit tree or trees, spoken with your local nursery and/or heritage tree expert about what the tree needs to flourish (adequate space to grow; proper variety for your climate; complementary tree, if the one you selected is not self-pollinating; water, sunlight, and soil; mulch and fertilizer; pruning; protection from winds, frosts, birds, insects), and, finally, purchased your tree/s (after asking God which trees from the selection at the nursery are the ones for you to take home), then you are ready to plant!
Bless every one and every thing all the time.
Please remember to treat the tree planting as a sacred act. Bless the soil as you dig the hole, bless the ingredients you add to the soil to enrich it, and bless the creatures (insects, worms, etc.) you find during the process. In your prayers, you can bless the earth, the tree, and the elements, and send a prayer into the Universe so that the tree will flourish and be bountiful, and its fruit will feed many people, all of whom will be blessed by the inherent health-giving, life-sustaining properties of fruit; and that the tree will restore the natural beauty of the planet and give us clean air to breathe. Bless the tree each time you water, feed, or care for it in any way. Talk to it—love it. And teach others to do the same. Remember: trees are conscious beings, too!
