Mid-December 2007 through early January 2008, Louix and His daughter Ariel Ganesha made their sojourn to Australia, staying at His ashram in Melbourne (Sundara Aravinda) and spending precious time with beloveds who came from all around the world to see them. For almost six weeks, a dedicated film crew along with some of His closest disciples from Prema Drala Ashram devoted their time and energy to capturing footage for the upcoming documentary, A Great Awakening. Highlights of their three-week visit included:

          A renewal of wedding vows ceremony for two disciples in Sydney;
          The consecration of Sathya Sananda, His new ashram in Sydney;
          A Public Darshan on the evening of His birthday;
          An evening of pranayama (a sacred breathing exercise for moving into higher states of consciousness);
          A Christmas Eve celebration amongst His Melbourne family;
          Christmas Day at the Royal Botanical Gardens;
          The New Year’s Residential Retreat held in the Dandenong Ranges.

Public Darshan

On the evening of His birthday (December 17th), Louix gave a Public Darshan at Melba Hall, at the University of Melbourne. He received approximately 70 people, anointing each person’s third eye with an intoxicating blend of oils and, to some, delivering personal messages and/or Revelations. He also gifted each person a necklace as prasad (a food or an item that has been blessed by the Master). The love and devotion that filled the atmosphere was amplified by the beautiful sounds of Australian sacred music group Sacred Earth.

Residential Retreat

On the warm afternoon of December 29th, disciples, devotees, and seekers arrived at The Country Place at Kalorama, located in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges just outside of Melbourne, to participate in a four-day residential retreat. Overlit by Louix’s love and grace, the retreat enabled everyone to experience deeper communion with God and each other. From guided meditations to yoga, and devotional singing to holistic, vegan meals, each aspect of the retreat enabled us to assimilate the greatest amount of Light into our bodies.

One evening included an Australian aboriginal didgeridoo ceremony by Jeremy Donovan. This ancient practice invoked the healing power of sound to connect us to Mother Earth. On December 31st, we gathered in the meeting space for our morning session with Louix. With a high amount of shakti coursing through His body while in a profound state of samadhi, He received each person and anointed them, sending many into altered states of consciousness and speaking wondrous Revelations to others. The following is one staff member’s account of this unforgettable, five-hour experience:

“… To put it mildly, people started bursting into ecstatic states. Sometimes He would say something to them, or He would just intensely stare into the person’s eyes with His glazed-over ‘eyes of God’; and each time, He would put sacred ash on the third eye of the individual. It was fascinating. Many a time I would help walk the person down the stairs as they were shaking, and then, after being escorted only a few feet from the stage, they would collapse on the floor into a blissful outburst of shaking, laughing, or crying. The seating arrangement only offered limited ways to maneuver through the room and all avenues were getting blocked by people who were lying on the floor in bliss. Blessing after blessing, anointing after anointing, I had to be prepared for the unexpected…

Probably the most profound (intense) experience was toward the end. We had one lady attending the retreat who had a history of drug-related problems, as well as abuse. When she came to the retreat she spent a lot of time in her room and looking after her son; yet, she was also afraid and extremely shy.

It was heart-wrenching to watch her come up to Louix. As she drew nearer to Him, she started crying, and as her eyes locked onto His, she started saying, ‘No… no… no…’ in morbid desperation as she realized what was about to happen. Within moments, Louix embraced her and began crying heavily with her. I was directly behind her facing Louix and I could hear a symphony of wails behind me as everyone felt her pain and witnessed Louix sucking all the drugs and the pain from her, like a vacuum cleaner. I cried uncontrollably watching the expression of agony on Louix’s face as He held her tightly and transformed her life forever.

That day her addiction was healed. This is one of many miracles… ”

During the final minutes of 2007, Louix proclaimed 2008 to be The Year of Rebirth. This will be a year, He explained, during which each person will have the opportunity to begin a brand-new life—if we are willing to take the necessary leaps of faith. He stated the importance of remembering that everything is forgivable and redeemable in God’s eyes, and He used the analogy of the proverbial “phoenix rising from the ashes” to represent this rebirth. He also revealed the sacred gemstone that holds the energies for this year to be the opal—also the stone of the Aquarian Age.

“… that Divine Grace, heralding and harnessing the energy of rebirth, means there’s an opportunity here—and a window, an opening, an invitation, and a blessing upon endeavors the same—for each one of us to… begin anew, to make a brand-new life … to claim a vision for your life; and there is an energy this year that will help anchor that, bless that, and empower that like you have never, ever had in your life.”

- Louix Dor Dempriey

Many of those who attended these events recounted them as being some of the most (if not the most) powerful events of their lives. It was also very touching to witness and be part of the many meetings and reunions that took place within Louix’s global community.

We are most grateful for the precious time Louix spent with us, and can only look forward to all that The Year of Rebirth has in store.

You Are What I Was Waiting For

Dear Sri Pranananda,

Like almost all Mexicans, I grow in a Faith upon Jesus Christ. Then to know The Truth—Know Myself—I decided to explore other religions and filosofies, always keeping in every God, Guru, person, and group the relation, the respect but the Love. That’s why My Heart is in Gautama, Jesus, María, Krishna, Yogananda, Gurumayi and in every One. But now that "I Find You" and visit Your website—Feel You—is easy for me to Love You, to Serve You because You Are what I was waiting for. Again, thank You for Coming. Louix, Yo Soy Tu Servidor, Francisco.

A Beautiful “Death” Experience

6 December 2007

Dear Pranananda,

Wanted to share with You the huge gift Jafeth’s mum left with us. She transitioned yesterday morning, just before 6:00 a.m. The feeling of unconditional love and peace was palpable! Her mother (that is Jafeth’s grandmother) was the first one in the long line of people welcoming her. She extended her hand to her daughter and the minute she took it, she took her last breath… it was nothing less than divine. This whole experience is such a beautiful gift she gave her daughter (Jafeth’s sister), as she was able to see all of this happening. She saw her mum leaving her body as an orb of light and going momentarily into her and giving her/showing her unconditional love briefly before going.

She was able to see the beauty and be in reverence of the moment.

It was truly magical.

Thank you so much for your guidance, as I was able to share with Ariadne (Jafeth’s sister) Your words in regards to death and the privilege to be present.

Looking forward to see You and Ariel!

Love,

Communing with Your Inner Child

One of the most powerful tools you can use to find peace and happiness, and to realize your goals and dreams, is to develop a strong relationship with your inner child. Here I have detailed a quick and effective way to achieve just that. I highly recommend that everyone include this practice as part of your morning meditation program or daily regimen. You will be amazed at how immediate and transformative are the results of incorporating this simple yet sacred practice into your life.

It is best to have paper and pen handy before you begin. Start by asking your inner child, "How are you feeling?" Then switch the hand with which you normally write. If you are right-handed, put the pen in your left hand. If you are left-handed, put it in your right hand. This automatically gives voice to the inner child—it is that simple. Then, just let the writing flow, with no editing or censoring. That begins your communion. After the pen has finished writing, you might offer your inner child some words of comfort, compassion, and understanding (no explaining, theorizing, or intellectualizing). The inner child needs to be heard and understood. The next question you ask aloud is:  "What do you need?" Again, simply allow the pen (in the opposing hand) to respond. You will be able to recognize your inner child’s writing because the sentences will be very short and direct, containing simple words and short, succinct phrases. Small children live "in the moment." They are tactile and direct, never indulging in intellectual reasoning or philosophizing. They will always, like all little children, tell you exactly how they are feeling and exactly what they want, in every moment.

The next step is the negotiation. Some people prefer to speak aloud to the inner child; others prefer to write their dialogue by switching the writing utensil back to the hand normally used to write… either way works. At first, your inner child—finally having been given a voice after so many years of neglect—may be extremely unreasonable, wanting to make up for a whole lifetime of feeling abused, ignored, chided, suppressed, or otherwise unloved. He or she may be telling you to stay home from your job, to go out and play all day (every day!), etc. Thus, in the beginning of this new relationship, you may have to plea bargain and compromise what you know needs to get accomplished a lot more than later on, while you are restoring lines of communication and regaining this one’s trust. This is normal and necessary. It is also to be expected that much of what you will be doing for and with your inner child will be the activities that you most loved as a child, and either wanted more of or were not allowed to engage in to your heart’s content when you were young. That part may never change, though your inner child will, in time, learn to like and enjoy more of your "adult" activities, too.

This is your opportunity to re-parent your inner child, to forge a new relationship with him/her, and to provide this one with an unprecedented level of unconditional love—the life-essential, unconditional love that few people were ever given when they were children, in the way they needed. Be tolerant, patient, and compassionate, and enjoy exploring your relationship with one another. Above all else, make sure to always keep your word (as it is wise to do with all people!).

It is vitally important to remember that your wounded inner child is the saboteur who impedes your progress, dashes all your plans, and prevents you from pretty much getting anything done. Your healed and happy inner child is the access to your Christ child, who is the access to your divinity and to your full mastery over all earthly dominion… in short, your happiness.

Global Clean-up Project

humanitarian gcup header Global Clean up Project

humanitarian gcup jasha lop Global Clean up Project

Global Clean-Up was initiated in December 2003 as a special birthday present to Louix Dor Dempriey from His devotees worldwide. The project demonstrates our love and gratitude to Louix, and to Mother Earth, and provides a vehicle to deepen our attunement to their Divine beauty and grace.

The primary task of Global Clean-Up is a simple one:  pick up trash and dispose of it responsibly. By cleansing the earth of garbage, we also gift ourselves with the opportunity to expand and cleanse our own consciousnesses, to redefine areas of our lives where we are less than graceful, and the parts of our consciousness that are less than pure love.

humanitarian trash image Global Clean up ProjectThe suggested bag for use during trash collection is the standard plastic or brown paper grocery bag. (For reference:  a 13-gallon bag holds three full grocery bags.) To include your trash collection in the global bag count, please e-mail your collection totals to graceinaction@Louix.org. Please read the suggestions below before participating.

Make your trash pick-up a sacred act:

  • While collecting trash, sing devotional songs or chant your favorite mantra. Or you can simply be in silence.
  • Set the intention to cleanse your consciousness (and release any non-loving habits) while you cleanse the earth.

Safety/Hygiene:

  • Always use gloves.
  • Do not mix syringes with other rubbish, and obtain instructions from local authorities on how to collect and dispose of them safely.
  • Be very careful with sharp objects like broken glass; do not pick up anything that you are not sure that you can carry safely.
  • If working in a group, have one person carry a bucket for dangerous objects.
  • Keep toxic substances in a separate bag (paint cans, solvents, chemicals), many of which can be taken to a toxic waste facility.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly when finished.

humanitarian gcup nature12 Global Clean up Project

Re-use/Recycle:

  • Use plastic shopping bags or larger garbage bags to collect trash. Three regular-sized shopping bags are equivalent to one 13-gallon trash bag.
  • Wherever possible, separate the rubbish from clean, recyclable objects and dispose of them in appropriate garbage bins. Do the same for chemicals or toxic waste, if possible (see above).

humanitarian gcup nature22 Global Clean up Project

Plan Well:

  • If you organize a group collection, make sure you contact the local council for any  relevant guidelines.
  • Keep plastic bags in the car or in your handbag. Once you start collecting trash, you begin to notice all kinds of rubbish wherever you go.
  • There is no shortage of trash:  railway stations, train compartments, supermarket parking lots, beaches, parklands, and sports venues are usually in need of a clean-up! You will most likely find a lot of trash in your own neighborhoods.
  • Remember to e-mail graceinaction@Louix.org with your bag count.
  • Invite family, friends, or work colleagues to join you—why not have a picnic together?
  • Have fun! Enjoy God’s creation as you walk about.
  • And lastly, become one of the many souls who have adopted (Louix’s) Law of Grace as their way of life:  Leave every space more beautiful than you found it.

You Are Powerful Beyond Measure

All of the Cosmos surrounds and revolves around you and is ordained and directed by your every thought, your every intention—conscious and unconscious. You direct all the atoms, all the molecules, and even the primal force of Creation, every moment of your life. That is how much power—Divine power—every human being wields.

Not only Masters in the process of being restored to their inherent divinity, but also Creators, are thee. Let that knowingness guide your choices in life, as you realize the power and consequence living within each one of them. Thus, in any moment of your life, if you stop and reflect upon your circumstances and find disfavor with them, you need only to make better choices—kinder ones, more loving ones, more selfless ones, and ones that are more deeply connected to the heart, mind, and will of God. And so it follows that all your outer circumstances will then, once again, reflect the very same.

Regardless of your understanding of this principle or your comfort with its effects, remember, in every given moment and in every given circumstance, to feel duly blessed and grateful, for there is an inherent perfection in each and every circumstance, in each and every moment of your life. Knowing this, and living by this credo, brings you peace—deep, inner peace—regardless of circumstance… and in every circumstance.

The Importance of Keeping a Miracle Journal

It is crucial to date and write down every Epiphany, Revelation, miracle, and lila (Divine play) that occurs in your life. Be sure to write your entries as close to their day of occurrence as possible. You do not have to retell the whole story, though you may if you wish. A line, phrase, or maybe even a paragraph is enough. If you keep a daily diary or journal, it is important to keep it separate from your Miracle Journal. In other words, it defeats the purpose and function of the Miracle Journal if you just heap everything into it like you would a diary. Whereas a diary holds an account of everything in your life—emotions, happy and sad; your wins and losses, etc.—the Miracle Journal is an account of the miraculous, a single stream of powerfully positive thoughts and events… a consummation of love and transcendence. This unified field of love (the ultimate and only Reality) is what gives it its transforming power.

In addition to the enjoyment derived from recording your miracles and sharing them with others, your Miracle Journal is most valuable when you find yourself in a dark night of the soul, have momentarily forgotten your divine nature as pure love, or have (in some other way) lent credence to The Illusion.

When you are in the midst of feeling depressed, angry, or hopeless, pull out this journal of all the victorious, God-filled events and transformations in your life and start reading it. All you need to do is to keep reading this chronicle of your divinity, and it will pull you out every time. It may not seem to you, in the moment, that this will take the dent out of your car, or recoup (a lost) five thousand dollars, or bring your deceased spouse or parent back to life. It does, however, facilitate your success in transcending and transmuting the situation—and your reaction to it—every single time, because the journal will very quickly guide your consciousness back to the only thing that is real—Love.

Whenever you delve into your Miracle Journal, your focus is pulled there and, thus, out of the downward spiral of negativity. All of a sudden the Truth starts washing through you again, and you begin to reprogram your consciousness back into love and joy—its natural state. Your earthly circumstance then shifts to follow suit with your now-correct state of consciousness. The Miracle Journal works because it exists outside the realm of Duality. As such, it harbors the full power, wisdom, and love of God. Enjoy!

My Guru, My Hero

If I were to play the song of my heart, it would be a symphony of instruments playing notes of love, slow and beautiful tones that would bring any soul to tears. My song would speak gentle whispers—soft, clear, and pure. Singing soulful melodies laced with gratitude:  “Thank You, God. Thank You for knowing You. Thank You for knowing Me. Thank You for the honor of knowing and walking with my Guru, Bhagavan Sri Pranananda.”

I have heard the words “unconditional love” spoken so many times in my life. I have also thought, at each point when it was spoken, “Yes, I understand what unconditional love is!” I can safely say that, after spending even the first moment with my Guru, I still have not even an inkling of the enormity of true, unconditional love.

Pranananda is the embodiment of a love where judgments, thoughts, feelings, and opinions never existed. This is God’s love, and I never would have believed it—not for a second—if I had not found Him. I would have continued on with my life, accepting a struggled attempt at not reacting to others (and to what I “thought” they had done to me) as my truth of God’s love.

I am continually awe-struck:  How big can God’s love really be? How far it can reach? Every time I think I know the answer, I see Him push the threshold and love us all the more. I have witnessed Him bear what my mind perceives to be the hardest of trials I could imagine, and He has never once—not even for the smallest moment—taken one step, one glance, one thought out of this unbridled, endless love.

He inspires me beyond words. As His disciple, I have the very proof and model of what I am striving for. He lives His teachings. I have a true, physical, tangible experience of what it means to love without restrictions, to love everyone without judgment, including the self.

How can one allow God’s will to be done, no matter how it might affect her? How does one stand in the face of anger? of blame? of betrayal? He has known all of these and more. I, myself (in my ego mind), have tested His love many times. Pushing, trying to see if I could prove God wrong about this love that wears no masks. But I have never won, and He has always pulled me through each lesson, shining brighter than I ever had before.

I am so grateful to Him for loving me this much, for loving everyone this much. I am inspired and moved by the immeasurable devotion He wields for all who walk through His door—and all who don’t. And the magical part is, I know that His love and acceptance will only grow, the more it is pushed, for God’s love (I am starting to realize) knows no boundaries.

If you were to ask me:  Who inspires me? Who motivates me to grow and expand myself? If you were to ask me:  Who is the one who moves me? Who ignites my heart? My answer is:  my Guru, Bhagavan Sri Pranananda. The single, greatest soul I have ever known. The One who said, “I will serve You, Lord,” and who lives each breath committed to His promise.

Cancer Miraculously Healed

5 August 2006

Dearest Pranananda,

Well YOU did it! True to Your word, ten days short of the three months that You promised it would take to transform my life, You have done it!!! “My Miracle” is complete… I have begun my new life. You have set me on my magical journey and, as my heart told me on that first night when my eyes drank of Yours, I now know, for a fact, that my life will NEVER, ever, be the same again.

Scared at first, I allowed Your wisdom to shine as a lantern over my head to light the way. I then watched, with trust and with Your hand in mine, the transformations that have occurred all around me. I have sat in child-like wonder at all the simple beauty of it all—the synchronicities, the opportunities for growth, the people (Oh, all the beautiful people!), and all the love and miracles—every, single day!!!

The affirmations You gave me have swept away the deeply buried sadness that I have held from my past. The meditations have revealed to me, with magnificent magic, the ancient wisdoms of the past (ME, an ordinary girl, sitting with Sages… who would ever have dreamed!). And You, the greatest miracle of all, have guided me by Your example. I will hold Your beautiful smile forever in my heart, and the sound of Your laughter will always ring in my ears. You are a wise and gentle Teacher, with just enough firmness to help me not to waver, but to stay true to my convictions. I can see now the amazing opportunities for growth that the gift of the cancer has given—not only to me, but also those around me. I even LOOK different now, and people keep commenting on “the glow.” I can see now how we can all recognize the Truth, even if we cannot always put our finger on what it is. But our hearts always know, as You have taught me:  If we listen with our hearts, we will hear our souls singing our song.

Thank You, from my soul, deepest within, for opening the ears of my heart. You are a true and wise Leader, and I wish you God’s speed in Your journey of awakening us all to the Secrets of our Souls. Please continue to let others know, as I will, that miracles can happen to even the most “ordinary” (even though I know that none of us are really that!)… for I am testament to that!

With all the Love that my Heart can muster…

Always Yours,

- Vicki T.

Darshan

The all-transforming power of God’s love comes through Me,
like a magnifying glass, so that the souls before Me
become consumed by the flame of His love.

Louix’s darshan is available to people of all faiths, beliefs, and walks of life—for His love is truly unconditional and embraces all. The Grace of the Master has profound transformational and healing effects, often evoking exalted states of bliss, spiritual awakening, and even, at times, healing of physical ailments. For thousands of years, people have come before God-realized beings to receive this immense blessing which, by its own nature, augments and strengthens one’s spiritual or religious beliefs.

about lddf purpose Foundation Programs and Activities

Pilgrimages, Retreats, and Public Audiences

Attending pilgrimages, retreats, and public audiences are ways people can receive Louix’s darshan (blessing) and be illuminated by His wisdom. During these events, Louix gives discourses on various aspects of self-mastery and Enlightenment, and facilitates Q&A sessions, sacred ceremonies, and meditations. Being in His presence and participating in these events helps people become aware of and heal the wounds and patterns which prevent them from living as unconditional love.

In previous years, Louix has led sacred pilgrimages to Sedona, Maui, Mt. Shasta, Central Australia, Egypt, Israel, Kenya, and India. In addition, He has held several retreats (as well as many private and public audiences) in the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, and New Zealand. In 2007 and 2008, retreats were held in Australia and the United States. The Foundation will continue this tradition of coordinating pilgrimages to sacred and historical sites, and bringing retreats and other public programs to countries all over the world.

about lddf youth group1 Foundation Programs and Activities

Youth Groups

Youth Groups (for pre-adolescents and adolescents) have been held to assist children in establishing a spiritual foundation in their lives. The children are taught basic meditation techniques, prayers, devotional singing, and other tools (including the use of educational films and other media) to foster and develop their intuitive talents and abilities, to strengthen and restore their full connection to the Divine realm, and to nurture their overall spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical well-being. The children are involved in community service activities (spending time in/with various groups, communities, cultures, and organizations) and are taught to love, appreciate, protect, and preserve nature and the environment.

Satsangs

Satsangs offer a regular forum for people to explore Louix’s teachings and to learn about the many practical tools He offers to accelerate one’s spiritual development and to experience greater joy and inner peace. They are facilitated by His disciples, devotees, and others who have been deeply impacted by His presence in their lives. Satsangs are currently established in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. One of the goals of the Foundation will be to create study guides and other materials to facilitate the study of Louix’s teachings by individuals and groups. The Foundation also plans to set up study groups in schools, universities, prisons, church groups, and other institutions that serve the greater community.

about lddf mens group Foundation Programs and ActivitiesMen’s and Women’s Groups

These intimate gatherings held at Louix’s various ashrams and centers provide a safe environment for the attendees to share with an open heart and to deepen their bonds of sisterhood and brotherhood. They also provide the opportunity for both the group leaders and all participants to share their experience and wisdom with each other, growing and learning from this interaction.

Creative Arts

Louix has a diverse and extensive background in the creative arts. He is passionate about celebrating the diversity of cultures, the richness of their art, and the aesthetic and ancient traditions of the past and present. While the Foundation does not have any specific creative arts programs currently in place, it is an area that will be expanded in the future.

Building Communities

Living in community, residents support one another’s spiritual growth and attainment of self-mastery and God-realization. They take part in daily meditations and prayers, service, and scheduled gatherings and activities. The depth of love and safety in these closely-knit and loving communities facilitates profound growth and healing for all who live there. The ashrams host public meditation evenings, study groups, pranayama (sacred breathing technique), and open house gatherings, offering people the opportunity to receive the blessings of Louix’s life and teachings and to share those blessings with others in the greater community.

about lddf build community Foundation Programs and Activities

There are currently four ashrams1 which are guided by Louix’s grace and wisdom:

  • Prema Drala (world headquarters and Louix’s primary residence) in Southern California, U.S.A.;
  • Sundara Aravinda in Melbourne, Australia;
  • Sathya Sananda in Sydney, Australia;
  • Prana Shakti in Hobart, Australia. This ashram is situated on a six-acre rural property, which includes two homes, a small cottage, and extensive, organic vegetable gardens and fruit orchards; and, as such, serves as an example of the Foundation’s vision for establishing planned communities.

One of the goals of the Foundation is to develop more ashrams under Louix’s guidance. The communities established in rural settings will ultimately be fully self-sustaining for both food and energy (i.e. “off-the-grid”). They will grow extensive organic gardens and orchards, and will use solar and other natural sustainable energy resources that foster and perpetuate Louix’s teachings on the importance of “green” living. All of Louix’s ashrams practice veganism2.

1Ashrams are intentional spiritual communities formed primarily for the enrichment of those who choose to live within them. They are traditionally formed and centered around the life and teachings of a living Master (God-realized being) and serve to help spread those teachings.

2Merriam-Webster dictionary defines a vegan as a strict vegetarian who consumes no animal food or dairy products; also one who abstains from using animal products (such as leather and fur).

about lddf the heart book1 Foundation Programs and ActivitiesPublishing

In 2008, the Foundation published a book entitled The Heart Always Knows, a collection of 59 essays written by Louix’s disciples and devotees, several of whom are in the midst of writing their own books about their walk with Him. Louix also has several books and other literary works currently in development (including a re-write of His first book, Dawn of Enlightenment, self-published in 1998).

Since His ministry began in 1996, Louix has produced an extensive library of audio and written products, as well as recordings of His many events, courses, retreats, and pilgrimages, all of which are compilations of His ageless teachings on self-mastery, Enlightenment, and unconditional love. Also, this website (formerly www.LouixDorDempriey.com) comprises an extensive portfolio of His teachings, including discourses (audio, video, and written), stories, poetry, photos, book excerpts, and Q&A’s—and is continually being updated and expanded.

Louix’s teachings have been published in magazines throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and India. He has appeared and been interviewed on various radio and television programs in the United States, New Zealand, and Australia. There are plans to produce various documentary films about Louix’s life and His teachings (with one that is currently in production), and to expand His presence in print publications and in all media throughout the world.

Archiving

There is an ever-expanding library of audio and video recordings of Louix’s life and teachings, as well as His personal artifacts, that are in the ongoing process of being archived. Currently, the recordings of Louix’s discourses are transcribed by volunteers around the world. Once transcribed and catalogued, these recordings provide the raw materials to create published works including books, study guides, articles, films, and audio books. There is an urgent need to preserve the many audio and video tapes that are now more than a decade old. Many are beginning to deteriorate and could be erased or permanently damaged. With the increased human and financial resources that will come through this Foundation, this very important work will be given the vital attention it needs.

Global Clean-up Project (picking up trash in communities worldwide, as part of our dedication to making the planet a cleaner, more beautiful place to live).

Global Clean-up Project was established in December 2003. Its goal is to clean the Earth by picking up trash in our communities and disposing of it responsibly. To date, the equivalent of more than 16,000 grocery bags of trash have been collected by volunteers in six countries. Louix’s ashrams and study groups coordinate regular community trash pick-ups and support their local city council’s community events on special occasions such as Earth Day and International Waterways Day.

about lddf fof Foundation Programs and Activities Forests of Fruit (planting fruit trees everywhere, for the three-fold purpose of reforesting the planet, reducing global warming, and eradicating world hunger).

Forests of Fruit was initiated in December 2005. By planting fruit trees on various public and private properties, and encouraging others to do so, this project gives life to Pranananda’s teachings of how fruit is paramount to our health and vitality. This project’s goal is to bring an end to starvation and malnutrition (which claim millions of lives every year) by providing free, naturally-grown food for all human beings (and animals and birds) everywhere. It also serves to reforest and oxygenate the planet (thus reversing the effects of global warming), and to beautify the world while so doing.

In the future, Grace in Action will include additional projects that embody Louix’s teachings of living in grace and harmony with Mother Earth and with all living beings. These programs are all currently coordinated by volunteers. As resources become available, the current and new programs will expand to include community education programs, greater local and international publicity, and coordination with other like-minded organizations. The Foundation intends to also create many more service and humanitarian projects that will serve the physical and social needs of all sections of society.

Program Support

All the programs described above are currently managed, facilitated, and supported by a small, dedicated group of volunteers. The establishment of this Foundation creates the vehicle for increasing its volunteer base, employing full- and part-time salaried staff, and expanding its activities to reach a wider international community.
